Casa Blanca is situated just outside the small town of Almogía in Andalucía, in a rural area with far reaching views of the surrounding hills. Our villa is set in lovely grounds in a private and secluded location.
Our Villa
Casa Blanca is a comfortable modern villa, on one level, which can comfortably sleep four people. There is also a sofa bed that can sleep two more people.
There are two bedrooms - one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. In addition there is a sun lounge room with a sofa bed.
Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and good wardrobe and cupboard space.
The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge freezer, oven and grill, gas hob, toaster, kettle and microwave. There is also a washing machine located in the outside area.
The bathroom has a bath with shower.
The lounge has two comfortable sofas. There is a ceiling fan. For the cooler evenings in the winter, there is a wood burner with logs available. The lounge has a TV with British channels available, similar to Freeview. There is also a DVD player.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.
The dining room has a large table comfortably seating 6 people. There is a ceiling fan.
The villa is equipped with games, books and DVDs and some local maps and information on the area.
Al Fresco Living
The villa is set up for al fresco-style living with a private swimming pool, sun terraces and gas BBQ.
The upper terrace is on one level with a covered area adjacent to the villa with a table and chairs.
There are steps down to the large private swimming pool (8m x 4m) with its own terraced area for poolside relaxation with sun loungers and parasols. The swimming pool and terrace are gated.
The garden and paddock area are well stocked with trees and beautiful flowers, which vary with the seasons.
There is a small children's playhouse.

Location
Almogía is a 2km drive from Casa Blanca. There is a good-sized supermarket along with a selection of shops. There are several bars and restaurants all serving good, reasonably-priced food. The nearest bar/restaurant which serves good food is approx 15 - 20 minute walk.
It is a 40-minute drive to Casa Blanca from Malaga Airport and a car is advisable (car hire easily available at the airport). Some of the places of interest you may want to visit, include the newly opened Caminito del Rey, climbing at El Chorro and water sports at the Ardales Lakes, El Torcal National Park which has the longest limestone rock formation in Europe.
It is a 40-minute drive to the beaches near Malaga. Malaga old town itself is well worth a visit.
The beaches just to the east of Malaga, for example El Palo, give a good Spanish feel. There are also two water parks located down in Torremolinos and Fuengirola, again a 40-minute drive away, making a fun family day out.
Casa Blanca is also a good base for walking and hiking.
